Shujie is currently a law student at the UBC Allard School of Law. Before pursuing her legal studies in Canada, she practiced law with two international law firms in Shanghai, where she advised clients on employment matters, commercial disputes, bankruptcy and restructuring, and a broad range of general corporate issues. She also had experience working in the legal department of a multinational pharmaceutical company, an experience that strengthened her understanding of business operations, regulatory frameworks, and corporate governance.

In Vancouver, Shujie aims to build a broad litigation practice, drawing on her prior experience and cross-cultural perspective to support clients navigating complex legal challenges.

Shujie is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
